Invite Program Terms

1. Who can be invited

The gift is for people new to SayToType. An account receives it when:

• the friend signs in on the invite page (the link you share) within 14 days of creating the account, or enters your invite code in the app within those 14 days; and
• it has never paid for SayToType and is on the free plan.

An account can be invited once, by one person, and that never changes afterwards. You cannot invite yourself. An account that was deleted and created again with the same email address is not new.

2. The friend's gift

The gift is 30 days of the Basic plan, starting the moment the account is created. No payment details are needed, and nothing renews on its own: when the gift ends, the account returns to the free plan.

A friend who subscribes during the gift keeps the days they have left. For a subscription bought on our website, the first payment moves back by those days. For a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play, the days are kept and applied when the friend subscribes on our website; we cannot move a store's billing date.

3. When a friend counts

A friend counts toward your reward when, within 60 days of creating their account, they either dictate 1000 words with SayToType or subscribe to any paid plan, wherever they buy it. Words dictated with the on-device models count the same as any others.

4. Your reward

For each friend who counts, you get one month:

• Subscribed on our website: your next payment moves back by one calendar month, and you keep your own plan for that month.
• On the free plan: you get 30 days of the Basic plan. If you already have such a gift, it is extended by 30 days.
• Subscribed in the App Store or Google Play: your months are kept and applied only when you subscribe on our website, where the first payment moves back by all of them. If your store subscription ends first, they are given to you as the Basic plan instead.

The app shows each friend's progress and tells you when a month has been added.

5. Limits

• There is no limit on how many friends you invite, and each of them gets the gift.
• You can earn up to 12 reward months in total. Friends who count after that are shown as counted, but earn no reward.
• Creating a new invite link retires the old one for new sign-ups. Friends you have already invited stay yours.

6. Fair use

The program is for inviting real people. Creating accounts to invite yourself, automated sign-ups, or inflating usage to reach the threshold are not allowed. Where we see abuse, we may withhold a reward, and in serious cases close the account under our Terms of Service.

Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

7. Changes to the program

We may change, pause or end the program at any time. Gifts already given and rewards already earned under these terms are honoured. We will announce material changes on this page and in the app.
